Back on the market

Sadly the lovely and talented Miss Owen Youngs declined my proposal last night. Lucky for me she was quite the light hearted individual and took the question with the intended humor. She did however invite me to her next show and encouraged me to ask again as she may be single at that point. After watching her show I was even more in love with her. The venue was intimate and had a great atmosphere of which Danny likened to a jazz club. She really put on a great show and was genuinely funny between songs. Before she went on we caught part of the act before her which was that of Scott Matthew. Dude had an amazing voice and really set the mood for the evening, which was very chill. And I also just caught on his myspace page that he created songs for the Cowboy Beebop movie. Awesomeness.

On an even more exciting note. Danny met Nelly last night. The rapper with the never healing face wound. Well he didn't so much as meet him as he went and stood in a crowd of people who were watching him get out of a car. But still. The best part of this was the fact that Nelly's car was parked in the middle of the street thus blocking traffic. People were not happy about this and expressed it in the form on honking. A lot. NYC has no patience for Nelly.
