Things like this make me wish I got to do more print work. It's a simple concept but it has great impact. And honestly how hard is it to call a mag and inquire, "Hey, what's going to be on your cover next month? Monkeys? Sweet, we can use monkeys to sell lawn mowers." I'm sure the conversation is exactly like that.

Also a treat for you design kids. I stumbled across this article on Design Observer today. It's a great take on the wave of swirly over complicated design that's been oh so popular for the past couple of years now. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it when done right, but when it's used to sell lawn mowers...oh wait.

In case you were wondering, I didn't buy it, it was given to me by the media team who had a visit from the Playboy rep last week. Swear.
