Eight?
Am I good to you people or what? Eight songs. Eight.
I know I said seven yesterday but I just keep coming across music that I like to damn much. So yeah eight songs and two of them are actually by one band, one awesome band with one awesome name. So read on and listen on and enjoy.
Say Hi To Your Mom - Let's Talk About Spaceships - Honestly though, how great is that name? And now how great is the song? They come up again so enjoy and then get ready to enjoy again.
The Early November - I Want To Hear You Sad - I was actually reminded of this song recently by a DVD. I'll make a separate post about said DVD at some point.
Ben Gibbard - This Temporary Life - Who doesn't love Mr. Gibbard? This solo effort is just all to inspired and home hitting for any transition. Possibly my favorite song by him.
Faultline feat. Chris Martin - Where Is My Boy - Such a cool song. Cooler still to hear him backdropped by something a little different than the usual Coldplay sound.
Bright Eyes - Haligh, Haligh, a lie, Haligh - Every sixteen year old girl's favorite dreamy little coke head.
Hot Chip - Look After You - I found out about Hot Chip because they remixed this song by Ladytron (which I need to throw up sometime) that I totally dig, so who would have guessed they were awesome by themselves as well as being awesome at remixing.
Cat Power - I Found A Reason - Cat Power? Yeah I'm surprised too. But a good song is a good song. It was in V for Vendetta for all of fifteen seconds and it struck me. So here it is.
Say Hi To Your Mom - Unless The Laker Game Was On - Ok for real this has to be the best song ever based on content alone. Two awesome eighties movie references and for god sake people, unless the Laker game was on? Amazing.
