No chicks in Santa hats

Last night Scotty Don't threw Chad, Danny and I a bone and took us to his good friend Scott's concert. Scott is the bassist in Dashboard Confessional and they just happened to be playing the little venue of Radio City Music Hall. RCMH was probably the best place I have ever seen a concert, at least sound wise. It was incredible. Aside from being huge and lovely in all it's Art Deco-ie-ness the sound it created was just brilliant. I've seen Dashboard twice before and both times I came away more impressed with the opening act. As I said it was pretty awesome, not only was the place great but the band sounded great as well. The throngs of teenage girls were literally deafening at points in the show. Mr. Carrabba has come a long way with his stage presence since I first saw them as well and he was also a pretty nice dude. The highlight of the night however, or at least the PG highlight of the night, came when Danny decided to declare that he could take Scotty Don't in a wrestling match after having found out Scoot took third in state in high school. I threw my hat in Scoot's corner even though Danny has a good nine years on him. Sorry Dano, maybe you will settle it someday. Danny was a good sport about it though, even going as far as to having the live music guy in the bar dedicate a song to "Scooter the Wrestling Champion from Milwaukee!". Though I didn't make it home until four and didn't eat dinner except for a five dollar hot dog it was well worth it.

Thanks to Scott, John, and John for letting us crash your bus and for letting Danny eat your egg rolls.

Also of note Adult Swim is the coolest thing on the earth for showing their newest shows online before airing them on cable. Take that cable! One more reason I don't need you until collage basketball season.
