Foundation day

I spent the day walking around Soho delivering food. Every year the agency I work for sets one day aside as Foundation day, a day for the employees to give back to the community in a charitable way. Selected this year was an organization that provides meals for individuals who are afflicted with AIDS. There was the option of preparing food to be made, delivering food or making food for the next day. I chose delivering. Danny and three other coworker dudes selected it as well but due to work load the other three bailed and it was just Dano and I. It basically went like this, there was one building in which all the meals are prepared, then the meals are sent to base points throughout the city where they are then later picked up and delivered to the individual residents. The picking up and delivering is where Danny and I played our role. To be honest no part of me was looking forward to this at all. It was however one of the best days I have had in a long time. I don't know if it's that I'd rather not bore you with the details of the whole day or just keep them to myself but I will say that I got to meet six lovely people this afternoon and drop off a meal to each.

Then it was back to work. To hammer out final thoughts for a pitch tomorrow to hopefully do something really cool. Didn't leave until ten. Good times. Oh and they started airing reruns of Scrubs at twelve and twelve thirty. Scrubs = goodness.

So now I will leave you with four bits of awesomenessnessity. Wieden+Kennedy is kind of a rad agency I don't know if they were responsible for this but I am for certain they were behind this. I heart nike. Frank Miller, the guy who brought you Sin City, is now lending another beautiful story to the movie projectors of the world. Now for the greatest video on the interweb, no really, the greatest. If you don't get why it's the greatest video on the interweb then I just don't get you man.
