Twenty < Eighty
Alright who else is obsessed with the new iTunes? Just me? The third view interface is just to nifty not to love. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have Dave pick me up the new eighty gig iPod all discount style. I'm tired of waiting on the touch screen I'll just get it as well whenever it finally drops. Baller son, baller. Anywho, in between scouring the net for album covers so I can shuffle through them at blazen speed, I managed to make a new playlist. I was going to try and do an ambient / melodic / listen to this on the subway type mix but it just turned out to be a mix with no real thread but hey whatever its my playlist so shut up.
Ladytron - Destroy everything you touch (Hot Chip remix) - I love this damn song. I have three different versions of it. I can't explain it.
The Album Leaf - Glisten - I'm a sucker for rain. It is my favorite thing in the world. Get into this band though, all the cool kids babysitters are.
The White Stripes - As Ugly As I Seem - I saw them do this live on the Charlie Rosen show a few weeks back, it was great. Charlie Rosen is a ninja, don't flex on him.
Sleep Station - Fallen - I love this band if only for their theme style albums. They tell a whole story but each song sits apart. Look them up, all the tracks are free and full on goodness.
Sufjan Stevens - For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti - The full title nor the album title would fit in the player, gangster. This song is awesome and made even more awesome when seen here.
Better Than Ezra - This Time of Year - I think of this song at this time of year. Weird.
Ray LaMontagne - Burn - Ray LaMontagne is cooler than you. Accept it.
DeVotchka - Dearly Departed - All four members of DeVotchka are pretty much cooler than you as well but don't feel bad because you read what I write and that...well...that doesn't make you cool at all...just listen to the song.

yeah i was a little dissapointed that they didn't revamp the vpod, so i may also be getting the 80 gig soon. the new itunes is nice tho!
