Stand up

It’s rare when you get to do something positive in the world of advertising. Between shilling burgers and smokes to fat kids it’s nice to do something that might have some meaning or a decent impact if only in a small way. So about a month or so back I jumped at the chance to work on a pro bono project for the UN. The premise is a little hokey but hopefully it creates some awareness. So yeah I designed the site for this campaign and all the online ads. Had to be real simple what with the international audience and all that so nothing too fancy.

They’ve done a decent job getting some people behind it. Dave Mathew’s Band did a ditty and the stars of Youtube contributed as well. Gotta love that lonelygirl15 even if she is a big fake. You broke my heart lg15! Also got some animation studios to do some stuff and some nifty celebs to talk about it as well. But yeah so if you aren’t doing anything on the fifteenth you should stand around and create some awareness and junk.

On an entirely different note. This is the funniest damn thing ever. It is the definition of an out of context quote. What the hell man? And for the internet inept, click on the play icon in the “Preview Console” to hear
