I confide in wolves
I'm going to do something a bit different with this post. Maybe call it a feature, maybe not. The player as you now might be hearing is filled with three tracks from one band. See, a bit different. I feel it's warranted though. I was given the album on Tuesday of this week and I haven't stopped listening to it since. The best way that I have come to describe it is if Death Cab, Saves the Day, Jimmy Eat World and Bright Eyes were to all get in a fight,The Manchester Orchestra would be the band that was left over at the end. Trust me it's true. Go get this album. The three tracks I put up are tracks three though five. I feel like they give a span of the album, the eb and flow if you will. More reading and some free tracks can be found here and here and here.
Also this is awesome and this is awesome and this is awesome. The last one mostly because Shaq just got swept from the playoffs today. Hurray!
Last thing, I just recently finished You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers. It is the second book I've read by the dude responsible for Mcsweeney's. And who is also responsible for two of my favorite stores of all time, the Pirate Store and the Brooklyn Super Hero Supply Co. You Shall Know Our Velocity might be the best book I've ever read. There is a tonal shift in the book that you never see coming and it's just handled so well. Good stuff.

I'm 2/3 of the way through 'What is the What'. Obviously a bit of a departure style-wise, but only the proceeding video has ever made me want to go help out in Africa more.
