Just imagine three popsicles

So I finally feel like a have a chance to slow down today. The last few weeks have been pretty hectic with travel and company. It was all well worth it though as good times were had by all. A brief recap includes: My good friend Kim surprising me and showing up in the city while visiting from Denver. We mostly talked about the good ol days but also this kid who is a good friend of Kim's cause shes all cool and into the skate scene like she invented it. And speaking of skateboarding, damn. My Mom then payed a quick weekend visit after which we both headed back to Kansas for some good ol family reunion time. It was my Moms family but it was oddly held in my Dad's hometown. It's not interesting enough to explain but don't worry they're not cousins. We went to my Dad's child hood home, at least what is left of it, and went to the old barn out back where I snapped this snazy photo.



I got some good quality time with the immediate fam excluding my brother who is in South Carolina right now, good timing bro. When I got back to the city I was greeted by both Shane and Kraig who decided to visit while I was out of town, good timing bros. Kraig bounced the next day but Shane was my roommate for about a week. He took out the trash once so I'd say the trip was well worth it.

Also I quit my job this week. I have a new job and I'm stoked on it.
